Biography:

Imran Khan is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM).

Dr. Khan is a microbiome specialist. He is mainly focused to understand microbial implications in human health. He is currently working on cutting-edge methodologies to decipher microbial role in colorectal cancer and food allergy development and prevention. His goal is to produce prebiotics and probiotics that could help human in living a healthy life. For this purpose, he is evaluating various herbal compound for prebiotic and therapeutic properties.
