Biography:

Naveed Khan is working as Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM).

Naveed Khan has obtained his PhD in "Ancient Population Genomics" from the then Centre of GeoGenetics, University of Copenhagen Denmark, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ludovic Orlando. He has also worked with Professor Orlando as a Research engineer and Post Doctoral fellow at Laboratory AMIS- CNRS, University of Toulouse III, France. He has been working as lecturer at the Department of Biotechnology since 2014, where he is being involved in teaching various genetics and genomics related courses to undergraduate and graduate students. His research interest is in the fields of Ancient Genomics and Human Medical Genetics and has contributed to articles published in high impact factor Journals such as "Nature ", "Science and "Cell".
