Saleem Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Islamia College University Peshawar. He obtained his PhD in Economics from Gomal University, Pakistan, under the Indigenous PhD Fellowship program. His research focuses on Pakistan’s trade structure, regional trade dynamics, trade competitiveness, economic growth, and environmental quality. His scholarly contributions include numerous publications on inflation, unemployment, export-import demand, trade competitiveness, regional trade, economic growth, energy, and environment. His work is published in prestigious national and international journals such as the International Journal of Finance and Economics, Foreign Trade Review, Journal of Asian and African Studies, Pakistan Journal of Applied Economics, Journal of Central Banking Theory and Practice, Global Business Review, Review of Development Economics, Sustainability, Energy Strategy Review, and Geographical Journal, among others.
