Currently, I am working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Entomology, Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan-Pakistan. Soon after my graduation with specialization in Entomology, I started my professional career as Entomologist in a public sector organization i.e. Pakistan Oil-seed Development Board (PODB) under the Ministry of National Food Security & Research. I also worked as visiting scholar at University of Florida, USA where I conducted field experiments on monitoring insect pests as well as other arthropods associated with sunflower varieties used in cut flower trade in South Florida of Miami Dade of USA. My PhD dissertation focused on different arthropods fauna associated with sunflower, their influence on yield and quality of the crop and control strategies against sucking insect pests on sunflower. I have participated in numerous number of national and international training/conferences. My research interest include Honey bees and other pollinator species that are vital for fruits/crops productivity. Within AWKUM, in addition to my teaching responsibilities I am also looking after Honey bee research Unit.
