farooqshah@awkum.edu.pk Dr. Farooq Shah is a Pakistani scientist who is serving as Professor at the department of Agronomy at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Pakistan. His research interests mainly include crop response to climatic changes, especially an increase in temperature. He got his PhD degree from Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, China, with specialization Crop Cultivation and Farming System. ust recently he completed his Postdoctorate from Northwest Agriculture & Forest University Yangling Shaanxi, China. He has more than 80 research articles to his credit that are published in highly reputed journals. He is the editorial board member and reviewer of several peer-reviewed SCI journals. Among other honors, he was selected for the Mevlana Exchange Program under which he taught at Osmangazi University, Turkey. He also participated in hybrid rice promotion training for Pakistan organized by the Yuan LongpingHitech International Center in China. Dr. Shah is a member of the National Curriculum Revision Committee constituted by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for Agronomy and several other international professional societies. |
