I am a Tenured Professor of Biochemistry at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. I earned my MSc in Chemistry (Biochemistry) from the University of Peshawar and a PhD in Genetics (Molecular Biology) in 2011 from Hazara University Mansehra, where I was awarded the Gold Medal as the university’s first PhD graduate. My research interests include Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Genetics, with a focus on infectious disease genomics. I have published 81 research articles in national and international journals and have supervised 2 PhD scholars, with 4 currently under supervision, along with over 40 MPhil and 60+ BS/MSc research students. I have presented my work at national and international conferences in Pakistan and abroad and have completed HEC-funded NRPU research projects, including studies on Plasmodium falciparum.
