asadraza@awkum.edu.pk He has been serving as researcher, practitioner and educationist in field of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Sustainable Development in various universities, national and international organizations since 2002. Alongwith his teaching expertise, he has a vast experience of heading the Tourism & Hospitality departments in Hazara University, Mansehra and AWK University Mardan. He has the honor to introduce Tourism as discipline in university sector in Pakistan by establishing the first ever Tourism and Hospitality department at Hazara University, Mansehra in 2006. Being “Convener” of National Curriculum Review Committee (NCRC) hedesigned and developed an uniform national curriculum (BS and MS) for Tourism and Hospitality. Asad Raza is involved had also successfully accomplished multiple projects with national and international organizations. His key areas of interest are Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Sustainable Development; that makes him a strong advocate of Community Development using tourism as a livelihood tool. |
