I am Farhad Safi, assistant professor and head of the department of Journalism and Mass communication, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. Before joining awkum, i practiced journalism and worked in many radio and tv channels as researcher, producer and internee. after my BS in Media and Communication studies i opted for higher studies and i took admission in MS in Media and Communication from International Islamic University Islamabad. meanwhile i got job as contract lecturer at awkum and established the department of Journalism and Mass communication there. then i went abroad for my PhD under faculty development program of the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.
