I did a one year post doctorate from University of Geneva in Switzerland and worked with the neutrino and cosmic rays physics group of NA61at CERN (The European Organization for Nuclear Research). My associate membership with CERN started when I joined CERN as a first summer student from Pakistan in June 2008 in which I worked on a project "Quality Assurance for the ALICE Monte Carlo Procedure". Later on I joined ALICE experiment from COMSATS University Islamabad during my PhD studies. Having GOD gifted pedagogical qualities, I started my carrier as Lecturer in Physics from GPGC Mardan in Jan 2008. I was fortunate to have the opportunity of visiting CERN. I was inspired by their quality research which paved my way to join the Department of Physics, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan in August 2009 as Lecturer. I was promoted to the post of Assistant Professor in October 2013. I joined the Tenure Track Scheme of HEC as Assistant Professor in October 2014 and got promoted to the rank of tenured Associate Professor of Physics in October 2018. I used to teach different courses at the undergraduate as well as graduate level. My area of research include: Radiation measurements; particle physics and heavy ion physics, the study of strongly interacting matter under extreme conditions, hadron measurements and neutrino physics. |
