majidkhan@awkum.edu.pk Dr. Majid Khan is a distinguished researcher in the field of Materials Science & Engineering who specializes in the development and application of hybrid nanostructured materials for high-performance electrocatalytic applications. He completed his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Science & Technology of China (USTC) in 2015. During his doctoral studies, Dr. Khan focused on exploring the innovative use of hybrid nanostructures to enhance electrocatalytic performance, contributing significantly to the advancement of the field. Before pursuing his Ph.D., Dr. Khan earned his M.S. degree in Materials and Surface Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. His master's research concentrated on the fabrication of thin films using plasma magnetron sputtering for Copper Indium Gallium Selenide (CIGS)-based thin-film solar cells, showcasing his expertise in renewable-energy technologies and surface engineering. Currently, Dr. Khan's research interests encompass a broad range of cutting-edge topics, including electrocatalysis, nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, nanotechnology, polymer nanocomposites, fuel cells, and supercapacitors. His work aimed to develop advanced materials and technologies to address critical challenges in energy conversion and storage, contributing to sustainable and efficient energy solutions. Dr. Khan's contributions to the field are reflected in his extensive publication records and active involvement in various research projects. His expertise and innovative approaches continue to drive progress in materials science and engineering, significantly impacting both the academic and industrial fronts. |
